Here are my favourite things from over the course of March. Any images that are not my own click through to their original sources and I have tried to be as comprehensive with the links as I can so you can find more info, outlets where to buy products and where to watch/listen/consume anything else.
Raised By Wolves (Television)
Back for a second series, without a doubt one of the funniest shows I have watched in the past few years. The show's premise takes inspiration from the writers', Caitlin and Caroline Moran, youth. Unfortunately as with all the greatest British shows there is only six episodes per series.
Dark Places (Book)
Although I started this at the start of December in my own true fashion I left it for a few months before picking it up again and reading it properly. This is the second book (third if you include The Grownup) by Gillian Flynn I have read. As with Gone Girl, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and it kept me gripped through its entirety. Although I am not sure on my feelings about the final course of events of the story, without any spoilers I will say that maybe its wrapping up was all a bit too convenient.
Lip Glossy (Beauty)
As someone that rarely wears make-up it is perhaps odd that I have a piece in my favourites for this month. I got the Rosie for Autograph Lip Glossy in the colour Sweet Nothing Kisses, which is quite close to my normal lip colour therefore it gives my natural colour a bit more vibrancy and shine than normal. Although its name is Lip Glossy it doesn't have the shine you'd associate with a lipgloss, it is much more subtle like a lipstick which is personally a bonus. I think I might have to venture out to another colour as I would like something a bit different than my natural lip colour.
25 (Music)
Naturally as I saw her in March (see my post about it here) I listened to a lot of Adele leading up to and after the concert. Personal highlights on the album are Million Years Ago, River Lea and I Miss You.
Barbican Conservatory (Place)
After hearing about the conservatory a while ago I have really wanted to visit it. I have never been to the Barbican at all before but went on my birthday weekend. I really enjoyed the vast variety of plants in amongst the brutalist architecture of the Barbican. I will have to visit again soon and perhaps catch a film or an exhibition at the Barbican Centre whilst I'm there.

MUSIC · Adele Live 2016
[Taken by me on Samsung Galaxy S5]
On the 22nd I was lucky enough to see Adele performing live at The O2 Arena in London, although I was hoping that I would secure a ticket for the 18th so that I could see her on my birthday! A fortnight before the show I received my tickets (First photo), unlike most gig tickets these were parcelled up nicely in a Adele logo sleeve and another sleeve welcoming me to the show which really added to the whole experience. Much nicer to receive than a letter containing only the tickets. The show opened with 'Hello', as you were probably more than aware if you follow the London Local Snapchat story at all. Even though I had seen all those snaps, it wasn't any less spine tingling. The echoing 'hello' with the piano intro along with Adele rising onto the B stage made me overcome with emotions, in fact I nearly cried as she came into view. Inbetween songs Adele was very interactive with the crowd, more so than any artist or band I've seen before. As fun as it was for those with close-up seats I think us on the top tier felt a bit jealous.
